Biography
略歴
UESATSU
Graphic Designer / Artist based in Tokyo, Japan.
After graduating from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Musashino Art University in 2022, UESATSU completed an MFA in Design at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2026. Through experiments in composition and perception centered on gradients, she explores new possibilities in graphic expression. By merging visual sensibilities with local perspectives, she seeks to expand the language of design. While working across fields such as music and fashion, she also develops independent products and researches tatami-based art practices, resulting in a multidisciplinary body of work. Member of JAGDA (Japan Graphic Designers Association).

東京都生まれ。
2022年 武蔵野美術大学 視覚伝達デザイン学科を卒業後、
2026年 東京藝術大学大学院 美術研究科 デザイン専攻修了。グラデーションを軸とした構成や知覚の実験を通じ、新しいグラフィック表現を探求。視覚感覚とローカルな視点を融合させ、デザイン言語を拡張する。音楽、ファッションなどの分野でデザインを手掛けながらも、自らのプロダクト販売や、畳アートの研究も行っており活動は多岐に渡る。
